Eposic: Policy
Privacy Policy
This site serves Google ads. Because of this, Google or other third
parties may, depending on the browser you use and your browser settings,
be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web
beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on this
website. If you do not wish such cookies to be set or web beacons to be
used, refer to your browser documentation to turn off cookies, JavaScript,
and/or images. Note, however, that many of the tools on the Eposic site
will not function without JavaScript enabled, and some will not function
properly without the use of cookies and/or images turned on.
No Eposic tool will store personal identification information in any
database. No personal information you enter in any Eposic tool
will be distributed except as directed by you in your use of the tool.
Any cookies created on your computer by an Eposic tool are only created
to make your continued use of that tool more convenient in the future,
or to allow you to save a work or game in progress.
RPG Tools Policy
Concerning the use of my RPG online tools in the RPG section: I hope you can and do use them in designing and running
your own RPG campaigns. I reserve all the rights to them, so don't go trying to make money off them somehow without
my permission. They are not to be distributed by any means other than via the eposic.com or eposic.org web site. You can link
to a specific tool from your web site, but I don't guarantee that any given tool will always be available, or that
any of the URLs won't change.
Source Code Policy
Unless otherwise stated, the sample source code in the
Source Code section of this web site is freely redistributable for non-commercial,
non-governmental use. If you want to use the sample code for a non-commercial, non-governmental purpose,
you can do so and you don't have to ask my permission first. This paragraph applies
specifically to the sample source code in the Source Code section of the site.
If you do use some of the code from my Source Code section on your site, it would be nice if you pointed a link
at my site from yours, but, hey, you are under absolutely no obligation to do so.
Some source code (and images!) are now available under specific open source licenses.
These licenses are listed on the pages with the download links, and
are included in the zip files that contain the code or images.
ClipArt.com Images Policy
Most of the art now on this site is obtained through a paid membership to ClipArt.com.
Clip art obtained from ClipArt.com is for
viewing purposes only, and is not to be further distributed without permission from ClipArt.com.
To download images similar to those on this site that
were downloaded from ClipArt.com, you'll have to obtain a paid membership. You'll also need some image editing software
to resize the images, and possibly even convert them to an image type suitable for the web. Images obtained from
ClipArt.com are copyrighted © 1999 - 2008 by ClipArt.com.
